Sweden is completely without any form of money
from the state and so called culturel departments.
Every owner has to trust only him- or herself
concerning incoming money. Some of the circus-
directors are succesfully working with selling
their shows to companies such as grocery stores
and other stores, some industrial factories,
sometimes to schools, sometimes to local community
departments and, of course, to all of them who
want to put money in a show or two..
theater takes a lot, a big lot, of our taxmoney.
Not to mention the free theater groups, nearly in
every corner of the country. And they take
millions of swedish kronor.
Circus, however, has to pay for themselves. They
pay large sums of kronor to rent a place on grass
or sand. And as most circuses travel
one-day-stands, these rent-money put together
during a season, is a fortune. All other taxes not
costs here is one reason why circuses sometimes
are short- living. Some people never give up, and
we are lucky here in Sweden to have circus touring

Cirkus Brazil Jack
is a small country. Just 9 million people with
circa 10-12 circuses of all dimensions. All of
them the European stile One-Ring-Circus. And the
tents differs from 200 - 1300 places.
We have "produced" many real good circus
and variety-acts. I mention here only a few of
REINO the slackwirewalker who was
the only artist to bicycle one wheel with hands!!

YEAR 2017 NO ONE HAVE EVER SUCCEEDED THE
WITH HAND-CYCLING !!!! The
TWO LERY´S with their
spectacular, hilarious acrobatics on stilts, THE
VETERANS who formed a new stile
the World around with crazy gymnastic/acrobatic,
and all the artists from FURUVIK´s Youth Circus, TRIO
HOGANAS, two men with the wire in their
mouth and a woman balancing on it, THE
SVENSSON´s first with the funny pas de
deux on horses, ULFI balancing on
the slack wire on his forefingers, and THE
APOLLOS, the incredible acrobats and THE
KIMS, JÖRGEN & CONNY,
and, and, and . . . .
must mention a man, not circusowner, circusartist
or circusworker, but with a great love for circus
and known as one of Europe´s finest photographers
in the circus-world. His photos can be seen in
most major newspapers in Scandinavia and abroad
and in the circuses program-magazines. His
